using firmware 3.1.10 (GWd)
When I first switched from Engin to VoIPer, I couldn’t get my SPA-3000 to work at all. Below you will find all the settings for the Line 1 tab of the SPA-3000 so that you can configure your SPA-3000 to work with VoIPer.
Before you Start
Before you start, make sure you have all the relevant settings for your VoIPer Plan. You will find your setting information from the Engin website. First login to Engin using your phone number and password sent to you by Engin when you first signed up.
Next, click on the summary tab at the top of the page, and you will see your connection details on the right hand side of the screen (something like this).
You need to enter the subscriber information you get from the Engin website in your SPA-3000. Log on to your SPA\Advanced\Admin and go the Line 1 Tab (if you don’t know how to do this, first have a look at the SPA-3000 setup guide.
Towards the bottom of the line 1 page, find the Proxy and Registration
section
Enter your subscriber information in the area provided.
The following section is for your subscriber information. Enter the information you got from the Engin website as outlined above.
Settings
In case you have problems like I did, here are all the settings for the Line 1 tab. Some of these are optional, but some are essential. If you set it up like this, you should be able to get it running. After that, you are free to experiment to see what happens.
The major settings to check (on the line1 tab) are:
1) Line Enable: Yes
2) Outbound proxy should be blank and Use outbound set to no.
3) User ID and Auth ID should both be set to your phone number including
area code. Use Auth ID set to yes.
I have also provided a full copy of my config file here: MattsSipuraSPA3000Config.zip
